Impact a Hero (IAH), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting severely wounded combat veterans to live exceptional and purposeful lives, has announced the election of three new members to its Board of Directors effective April 1, 2017. They are Robert Paiva, Robin Ritchie and Neil Campbell.

“From a Gold Star father to veterans that have served our nation in time of war, and with executives representing both the for and non-profit sectors of our community, our board is comprised of patriots that have a heart for service for those who have sacrificed so much for all Americans.  I am proud to be part of an organization that continues to attract top caliber individuals to volunteer their time to our mission,” says Rod Long, Chairman of the Board. “New IAH Board Members Robin Ritchie, Neil Campbell and Rob Paiva will provide the leadership that will benefit Impact A Hero.”

Robin Ritchie is the co-founder and managing partner for ProHealth Resources LLP, a healthcare staffing and placement company. He is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and holds a masters degree in Government from Texas Christian University.  Rob also served 27 years in both the active and reserve components of the U.S. Army where he held worldwide command and staff positions, including multiple command and advisory tours in Vietnam as a combat infantryman.

Additionally, Rob is a past board president of Fort Bend County Habitat for Humanity as well as former vice chair of Habitat Texas.  Rob resides in Sugar Land, TX with his spouse Jan and is the proud father of two children and six grandchildren.

“Courage exemplifies our wounded veterans and I am honored and humbled to be part of Impact a Hero and be able to contribute to the ‘tomorrow in every soldier’s prayer’”, says Ritchie.

Neil Campbell is currently the Director of Corporate HSE for Pacific Drilling. He has previously served as the director of the Independence Ride for the past 10 years and has served a 2-year term as a board member on the Schlumberger Employees Credit Union.

Neil graduated as an electrical engineer from University of Saskatchewan and is now residing in Sugar Land, TX. He and his spouse of 31 years have 2 adult daughters. Besides supporting our veterans, his personal passion is road cycling.

“I am excited to be coming into Impact A Hero as a board member. This organization has done many great things for our veterans, and has a very bright future focused on giving back and supporting those who have paid a huge price for our freedom.” stated Neil.
