Vik Bakshi is a Director of corporate strategy at Quanta Services, Inc., where he focuses on energy transition markets that drive decarbonization. Prior to Quanta, Vik founded Sand led Seneca Trails Capital, a private investment firm through which he successfully identified and raised capital to acquire a lower-middle market business providing industrial services for the midstream and downstream oil & gas industry. Prior to Seneca Trails, Vik was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he served clients in a variety of operational, strategic, commercial, and M&A engagements in electrical power and oil & gas industries. Before joining McKinsey, Vik worked in heavy manufacturing as an engineer and operations supervisor at Nucor Corporation, America’s largest and most profitable steel producer.
Vik served as an Infantry officer in the United States Army in the 25th Infantry Division, during which he deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. His awards and decorations include the Army Ranger tab, Airborne Parachutist badge, Air Assault badge, and Bronze Star Medal. Vik holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
