Brent Smith previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Main Street Capital, which provides private equity and debt capital solutions to private companies. Prior to joining Main Street Capital in 2014, Brent served in various finance and accounting roles including Chief Financial Officer for an offshore marine construction company supporting the oil and gas industry. Brent graduated from Texas A&M with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and is a certified public accountant. Brent’s father served in the U.S Airforce including tours in the Vietnam War. Brent resides in Houston with his children Hunter and Jenna.
I am honored to serve on the Board of Impact a Hero as it is a way for me to give back to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. We have the opportunity to pay it back by helping veterans succeed in the next chapters of their lives following military service.
