New Manager of Business Development Joins the IAH Team
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER JOINS IMPACT A HERO
HOUSTON, TX, – January 28, 2020 – Impact a Hero (IAH), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting veterans, is excited to announce that Trena Hogge has been hired as the new Manager of Business Development effective February 1, 2020.
“We are excited to be adding Trena to the team as the Business Development Manager,” Said Mike Nasche, Executive Director. “Her background and experience will be valuable assets for Impact A Hero as she helps us grow the organization.”
Prior to joining Impact A Hero as the Business Development Manager, Trena Hogge supported the organization through volunteering and participation in past events. Trena has an extensive background in sales, marketing, and business development roles with over 15 years of experience in the private sector. After spending the last 11 years of her career in sales and sales management within the global offshore drilling markets, her passion for her community and helping others inspired her to make a shift to the nonprofit world. Trena has a long family history of military veterans and served herself in the US Army Reserves. Additionally, Trena serves on the Board of Directors for Timbergrove Sports Association as the Director of Softball Operations, and as a marketing co-chair for the nonprofit group K9 Officers, Inc.
“Military service can mean so many different things to those of us who have served. Though I am a veteran who did not experience the same traumatic situations that so many of my brothers and sisters in arms did, I certainly understand the impacts of trauma through other life experiences. I am a firm believer in the importance of mental health and growth for individuals. Having the opportunity to do what I love and apply that professional experience to ensuring that even more veterans have access to resources supporting their post service growth, means a lot to me.”
