December 31, 2016 – Houston, TX.
Impact a Hero (IAH), has announced a change in its Board of Directors. Effective January 1, 2017, Daniel Ebarb and Dan Sullenbarger will leave the Board after serving more than 3 years of service. Mr. Ebarb was instrumental in revising our financial grant system, and Mr. Sullenbarger served as Chairman of the Board for more than 2 years of his term.
“It has been an honor to serve as Chairman of this Board and work with a group of highly talented and diverse individuals who all shared the common mission of serving our wounded veterans. The Board has made terrific strides in establishing much needed policies, practices, and procedures that will make it sustainable to our wounded vets and attractive to potential financial supporters,” said Mr. Sullenbarger.
A retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel, combat veteran and business owner, Rod is the longest-standing member of the all-volunteer board and will serve as Chairman for a one year term. “Impact A Hero is a wonderful organization that has helped hundreds of our nation’s most deserving after 9/11. I am proud to be voted on as Chairman and will do everything possible to continue to help our combat wounded veterans and their families in this role.”
