Graybill, Jeff

Jeff Graybill is the Senior Manager for Operational Security at The Friedkin Group, based in Houston, TX. He brings over two decades of experience leading teams and programs to success, having previously spent 20 high-growth years at Academy Sports + Outdoors, ultimately serving as Director of Corporate Security and Supply Chain Asset Protection.

In parallel with his civilian career, Jeff served 20 years as a commissioned officer in the Army National Guard. A combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he deployed in both 2004-05 and 2010. His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Combat Action Badge. He retired from the National Guard in 2017 as an O4 (Major).

Jeff received his Army reserve commission from the New Mexico Military Institute, an early commissioning program, and later graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He also holds a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation.

As a veteran who successfully navigated parallel civilian and military careers for more than two decades, Jeff brings a unique Citizen-Soldier perspective. He understands the challenges military service members face, whether transitioning to civilian life or coping with challenges resulting from military service. His passion for supporting fellow veterans aligns with Impact A Hero’s mission, helping service members access the tools and resources they need to thrive personally and professionally.

Jeff resides in Fulshear, TX, with his wife, Melanie.
